RMA Philadelphia Langhorne

Coming to RMA was the best decision we made! I worked primarily with the Langhorne office and every single person was wonderful and so nice! The nurses are so easy to communicate with and I always felt comfortable. We are currently 20 weeks pregnant and I wish I could have stayed with RMA for my entire pregnancy!

We had a wonderful experience at RMA! Everyone throughout the IVF process from start to finish was kind, professional, and helpful. Dr. Castelbaum specifically is amazing at what he does, and really makes you feel heard and an active participant in the process. We are so grateful for everyone at RMA for helping us have our rainbow baby girl!

We had a wonderful experience with the physicians, nurses and staff at RMA Langhorne! They all took their time to answer any questions we had, and were supportive every step of the way. There was also a personal touch - we didn’t feel like just a number at this office. We wouldn’t have our baby girl without them!!

We worked with RMA for about a year from initial testing to 10 weeks pregnancy. They were always responsive and made sure we were comfortable. The team at the Langhorne, KOP and surgical center were always friendly and helpful. We’re very excited to have a successful ivf transfer and will be welcoming baby boy in early fall!

Could not say better things about RMA! With how difficult infertility issues can be in general, everyone at RMA went above and beyond in my experience with my 5ish months at RMA. The nurses kept in constant communication both on the portal and on the phone answering every question I had and made sure I understood every step of the way. And Dr Wheeler really worked with me talking through all options to make sure we were making the best decision for me, both for my body & financially. I always felt listened to and cared about by everyone at RMA. Happy to say I’ve graduated from this group. Huge shout out to the entire team! Could not have had a better experience.

I had a wonderful experience with RMA Philadelphia. I had been pregnant once before and was having trouble getting pregnant again. I went to RMA as recommended by my OBGYN, and had I not gone to them, I probably wouldnt be pregnant now. The staff was fantastic, and Dr. Castelbaum was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend RMA Philadelphia (specifically the Langhorne location) for your fertility needs!

Highly disappointed. My husband and I had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Karen Wheeler , she was about 15-20 minutes late to the appointment which is not that big of a deal since I know doctors are busy. The issue was when we got on the call she was very distracted and did not feel like she really cared about us or this appointment. She kept playing with her shoes and moving around. She was playing with her hair and just did not seem to care about us or the appointment. It was very unsettling and we will NOT be using RMA. We both highly upset after this appointment and it was just an initial consult!

Terrible experience. Each of the girls on reception in Langhorne does not know what they are doing. Every new person on the phone says different things. They promise you one thing and then do nothing. Ordered semen analysis and was told to look for the result on the portal. Two days later they called saying it is ready and refused to provide it to me. Seriously? You say no to the patient regarding his own records??? Moreover they requested additional docs from me to be provided. I sent them an order from the doctor. And still never receieved the results, neither I nor the doctor. This clinic is a scam. All they know is to charge your money and forget about everything else. It is all about money and nothing else. My worst experience ever. Regret I wasted so much time on them.

RMA was my second opinion for IVF, and I had no real intentions of staying with the group. That was, until I had the privilege of meeting Dr Thorne. Instantly, I felt at home, with a doctor that was shooting me straight and giving sound advice. I made the decision to switch to this practice before even finishing that appointment, after spending several years with another group. The office staff was always wonderful, every interaction was pleasant and warm. I met many of the docs during multiple visits and I enjoyed working with them all. I had an incredible experience from the start, and am fortunate to share that I have just left that practice at 10 weeks pregnant. IVF is not easy, but RMA made it as easy as possible. In the end, so very worth the effort, and so glad I had the best team to support me. Would recommend over and over again. Thanks Dr Thorne, Ceil, Leanna, and everyone that had a smile on their face during every visit, every procedure, every single interaction!

I started my IVF journey in 2016. I have been to 3 different fertility clinics and highly recommend RMA. Dr. Castelbaum is fantastic and tells you the truth from the beginning about your chances and where you stand. Through each cycle he was extremely straightforward, caring, and has your best interest. He listens to everything you say and answer every question you have (no matter how many times you feel as you repeat yourself).Denise, one of the nurses also takes her time and will review everything with you and also answer every question. As stressful as this process is, the whole staff make it a very welcoming and comforting place to go through this. All staff members: front desk, nurses, doctors, embryologists, are friendly professional and willing to listen.The other 2 places I went to, one was rude and told me I needed surgery or coils implanted (which are permanent) if I ever want to get pregnant and the other told me I may have cancer. Neither were accurate.RMA gave me a beautiful son and I am now pregnant with my second son when I had a very low success rate. I would recommend RMA 100%

From the moment I walked into RMA in Langhorne, it immediately felt like such a positive environment! From the women at the desk who were so friendly, the nurses and doctors (I saw Dr. Castlebaum), everyone was just happy and you could tell they all genuinely enjoy being there. Thank you to everyone who was there for giving me a welcome experience!

Dr. Castlebaum is hands down the best doctor Ive ever had! We began seeing him in March 2017 for infertility issues. We went through one round of IVF and by July, we were expecting! The rest of his staff is amazing as well...they stick precisely to their schedule - you never wait more than a few minutes at most, which is a big plus when so many office visits are required while going through the treatment process (sometimes daily depending on where youre at in the cycle). Also, when I had a question about how to administer one of the injections myself at home (happened to be about 8pm on a Friday night), Dr. Castlebaum was on call and personally called me back to walk me through it. His bedside manner is outstanding, he always takes time to answer questions and make sure everything is going well...he really knows his stuff. There is a reason why RMA is a center of excellence. :) We couldnt be more pleased with the doctor, the staff, and the entire experience. Turned a stressful situation as pleasant as it could be. Thank you!!

When my husband and I were ready to start a family, we thought it’d be as easy as they tried to make it seem in school. After trying for a year (with taking my temperature, using ovulation kits, etc) we knew something was wrong. I stumbled across RMA after googling local fertility clinics and after meeting with Dr. Castelbaum, they were able to confirm our suspicions. To make a long story short, we needed IVF with ICSI.The entire process was smooth and the office staff was mostly great at explaining things along the way and answering my questions (as with any place of work, you may encounter 1 or 2 people that seem miserable). Although Dr. Castelbaum was my main doc and prescribed my treatment plan, I did interact with Drs. Gutmann and Freedman, and had great experiences with them as well. Dr. Castelbaum has amazing bedside manner and I’m so lucky to have him as my doctor....I always felt at ease with him, especially when discussing such a sensitive subject.I was fortunate that my first cycle worked and today I look at my 4.5 month old baby boy and am so grateful for the opportunity they have given me to be his mother. I never once felt like a number in their cattle (which some people may feel with larger clinics). We have a few frozen embryos that we will be going back for soon....I’m absolutely happy with my choice of a clinic.One of the best things about it was the flexibility in scheduling. I work early and long hours so I often needed to be the very first appointment of the day to get to work on time and they were always able to accommodate me. Pick RMA...you won’t regret it!

The wonderful team at RMA made our entire experience so enjoyable. My husband and I first visited RMA a year ago seeking answers as to why we were having trouble conceiving after our loss. We met with Dr. Castlebaum and from the very first meeting, he was absolutely reassuring that we would be able to have our rainbow baby. After deciding on IVF, the care and compassion from the entire RMA team made the entire process so easy to understand and so much less scary and stressful. If I had a question, I could always email Dr. Castlebaum and his team, and they would always reply right away. Never once did I ever feel like I was just another patient. The personalized care at RMA is beyond what I had expected. I would highly recommend RMA and Dr. Castlebaum to all those who are seeking fertility help.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Castelbaum. I am so thankful for him and this office. After having trouble conceiving we began the IVF process. Dr Castelbaum was so supportive, professional, and determined. He somehow made a difficult process seem easier through his positive approach. I am happy to say that we welcomed our first born baby girl in October!

I truly can not say express how incredible Dr. Castelbaum and his staff are at over at RMA; I honestly never wanted to leave! They take such wonderful care of their patients and every single staff member made me feel so comfortable. The nurses are so great about answering any questions you may have and Dr. Castelbaum will directly answer any questions that you have through email, which I thought was excellent. The staff and doctors were so helpful,respectable and care a lot about me. I did not have to worry about test results as the nurses were always making sure they kept me updated. Its the best medical care I have received from anywhere. I definitely felt like I was more than just a patient. I will never be able to thank the doctors and nurses enough for all their hard work that went into taking care of me making sure I was ok. Dr. Castelbaum was so kind and is the best doctor I ever had. His personality and positivity was a great encouragement for my husband and I. Our result after treatment is something I cannot be more grateful for and its all because of Dr. Castelbaum and his staff. They gave me my happiness.

I had a wonderful experience at RMA Langhorne, Dr. Castelbaum and the entire staff were all amazing and really invested in me and my journey. I began my journey with this team back in September of 2018 and through my first IUI to my last round of IVF in 2021, I always believed in the process because they all believed in me. I have one son and a daughter on the way and all of this was possible because of RMA. I cannot thank them enough for making my family a reality.

I cant say enough wonderful things about this practice. Such an amazing group of people. After 2 long years of my husband and I trying to have a baby, and numerous doctor visits, surgical procedures,and hormones, and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinions we finally went to RMA. We met with Dr castelbaum. He is such a kind man. He truly listens to the patients, and you arent treated like every other patient. Whats different with RMA is they are truly compassionate to your personal journey. They dont treat you with the generic care plan like everyone else...they tailor your treatment to whats best for you. My hubby and I began our IVF journey in July of this year, and Dr. Castlebaum listened to me and my thoughts every step of the way. I thank the wonderful nurses and doctors in this practice for being so kind, understanding, and loving. I am so truly blessed to have this tiny miracle inside of me due to arrive in April 2017. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Thorne and the staff at RMA. Everyone I’ve encountered has been so incredibly kind and warm. They all are truly outstanding. They thoroughly take the time to research, test, and explain any diagnosis, treatment, and procedures. They are quick to return any call and answer any question you may have no matter how silly you may think it is. It was a bittersweet moment to “graduate” from their practice but we are happily expecting our first child thanks to their efforts. If you are struggling to conceive or are interested in fertility health, this is the practice for you.

During this hard time in our lives, Dr. Castlebaum was nothing but professional, respectful, knowledgeable, honest, and made us feel that he truly cared. The nurses there were wonderful, they called promptly with results and answered all questions I had. I would highly recommend anyone to go to RMA if they need help creating their families!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr.Castelbaum, he is such a positive energy and made us instantly feel at ease and informed. I was so sad to leave him after we conceived because my husband and myself had both grown very fond of him and his staff. The staff there is remarkable. Everyone is patient, kind, friendly, well informed and the Doctors areAmazing! They are always there to answer any questions or concerns you may have and they are upfront about all the possibilities. Even after discharge they still assist with what they can. I am pleased with their service and glad I made the decision to switch from Penn Fertility to RMA. I could sit at this computer for days, and still wouldnt have enough time to say all the wonderful things there are to say about Dr. Castelbaum, so the short version will have to do. At the recommendation of my OB/GYN, I met Dr. Castelbaum on January 15, 2016, after trying for 10 months to conceive and having recurring ruptured ovarian cysts. From the first moment I met him, he made me feel very comfortable; he is very personable and down to earth. My favorite thing about Dr. Castelbaum is his bedside manner; he never seems rushed, and as his patient, I always felt like I was his one and only patient, like helping me conceive a baby was the only thing in the world he was concerned about. Thats such an amazing feeling to have. Dr. Castelbaum worked very closely with me for 4 months, and after my second round of IVF in April, I am over the moon to say I am now 16 weeks pregnant with a baby girl! My husband and I already have a 5-year-old son, who we conceived when I was 19 years old and not trying, so never in our wildest dreams did we imagine that a diagnosis of endometriosis and multiple visits with a reproductive endocrinologist were in our future. Dr. Castelbaum helped us through the shock of finding out the reality of our infertility, and through the heartbreak of finding out our first round of IVF had failed. He shared in our joy when we found out our second round of IVF resulted in conception! He made this whole experience bearable, and I will never be able to thank this amazing, wonderful doctor enough for making our dream of becoming parents again come true. Were looking forward to seeing Dr. Castelbaum again in a few years when we decide its time for baby #3 :) If you want a compassionate, kind, brilliant, empathetic doctor, then Dr. Castelbaum is the doctor for you!

If I could give 1,000 stars, I would. Weve known Dr. Castelbaum and his staff for 3+ years and have been impressed by the Langhorne office at every single visit. Very short wait times (rare for a doc office!) and extremely efficient payment and scheduling. Bloodwork results are given promptly same afternoon. The entire staff is so sweet, friendly, and compassionate, and Dr. Castelbaum himself is by far the best doctor Ive ever had. Not only an incredibly knowledgeable doctor but a warm and caring person in general. He called me personally to check on me during my miscarriage! His honest nature allows you to trust him completely, and his humor always puts you at ease. For anyone struggling with infertility, do yourself a favor and visit Dr. Castelbaum. He is simply the best!

RMA of Philadelphia is a fabulous place! Filled with caring doctors and wonderful nurses. This was my 2nd visit to RMA. My doctor was Dr. Castelbaum. He is a compassionate doctor who always put a smile on my face. We had 2 IUIs. The first one was successful the first time! I now have a beautiful 4 year old daughter. We tried again for another baby, and we had 2 miscarriages. Feeling discouraged, I decided to head back to RMA to see DR. C and we decided to do another IUI and my first attempt was successful again! I am now pregnant with twins! 2 visits, and 3 kids later I can honestly say, you will be pleased with RMA!

I found out 14 years ago that I have PCOS and from then worried I may never carry my own child. My husband and I spent a few years trying on our own until we finally asked for a recommendation to a fertility specialist and were sent to Dr. Castelbaum. From the first meeting I was instantly comfortable. Before seeing bloodwork, medical records or doing any type of exam, he knew right away how to help and was so confident. He was kind, gentle in telling me the things I knew I needed to hear and told me he was going to help me reach my goal. For the first time I felt it was possible and my dream of becoming a mother was going to happen.Through all of the treatment, which was an emotional rollercoaster I could have never prepared for, he and his staff were beyond amazing. They explained every step of the way, comforted me when I cried, greeted me with a huge smile every visit like I was their only patient and kept me going. And I can now say I am almost three months pregnant!! The only downside is that I don’t get to go to his office anymore as I have now “graduated” as Dr. Castelbaum puts it. I cannot say enough wonderful things about he and his staff and my husband and I will forever be so grateful for them.

From day one, the entire staff have been extremely hospitable and helpful—-always available when I had questions or needed a script. Dr. Thorne, thank you for your guidance, clear explanations of everything, and overall, helping to make this miracle happen. I can’t wait to meet my baby! :)

I went to RMA multiple times. The first time, unfortunately things didnt work out so I took a break. After about 2 years I decided to return. Finally, in February we got pregnant but unfortunately lost the child. Dr. Castlebaum called me and was very caring and supportive, as was the rest of the staff. Finally, after 6 years of trying and one miscarriage, we found out in June we were expecting. Baby is due in November and if not for RMA we would never be awaiting this miracle.

I had two of my co workers who went to this office and had a good experience and recommended me to go there. The first time I visited to this office- the first thing that came out of the front desk staff was hello- lets talk about your financials! That was a turnoff for me and my husband. Now long story short- my situation was to go for the IUI and it was the worst experience of my life. Just going through fertility is already a big stress but the last 2 treatments were constantly being delayed and postponed. I had the nurses who kept telling me they put in for a request for my needles but it was not being done for a week. I had to call the office 5 times and my insurance 5 times. I had mentioned this to Dr. Thorne and it got resolved- he had mentioned that he was taking serious measures- but nothing changed. The last treatment- was even more disappointing where my needles were being delayed again due to the nurses not doing their job. THERE WERE NO CHANGES THAT WAS MADE FOR ME TO HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE. They never followed up with me to make sure if I took the pregnancy test. I want to know WHY I am being treated as a lost cause???? I spent thousands of dollars to make sure to make it work and the nurses and Dr. Thorne did not make it easy on me. I also accepted the fact that IUI did not work for me and it is what it is- but THAT DOESNT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT to make me go through more stress than what I already have. I DEFINITELY DESERVE the treatment that others were getting. I TRULY believe that because I was not going through IVF that they did not care. I never had experience where I pay a lot of money and not getting any results other than GRIEF and MORE STRESS. I would NOT recommend this office at all! I know that I went through this journey on my own and Dr. Thorn and the nurses made it harder for me to go to their appointments. I just thought after I talk to the Dr, and the clinical manager - something will change for the better- but all I got was I need to talk to a professional mental counselor in order for me to find peace. I would have been a lot better if they actually cared about me instead of my money. This experience was the worst situation that I had to dealt with in my life. SO you take all my money and give me stress and more anxiety in my life and saying good luck is what I got out of this whole treatment. This caused nothing but tension between my husband and I and my personal life. Stress is an understatement. I am now left with anger and more rage than ever after this last treatment. I definitely wasted all my time and money in this office for 9months. Thank you RMA for letting me suffer for 9 months and take all my money with no results but leaving me with a scar in my life. Again- I would definitely NOT recommend this office! I am never getting back the 9months that I have wasted with unprofessional nurses and doctors.

My experience with Dr. castelbaum was not so great. I am older woman at 41 my AMH levels were low. He did one round of IVF canceled it told me I can either do donor eggs or iui or he would not work with me. I already understood my chances were slim all I was asking for him to support me and to give me a chance. He’s not a very supportive doctor he pushes donor eggs if you’re older even if you don’t want it, keeps pushing. My phone calls with him we’re very short I cried every time I got off the phone, makes you feel horrible about your body no support. You feel like more of a number with him. Now with a new doctor that is super nice and willing to give me a chance it makes a world of a difference. I hope this helps any woman that might be in the same situation as me.

Highly recommend Dr Castelbaum and RMA. Hearing you have a fertility problem is not an easy thing to hear, but Dr Castelbaum and the staff helped make my journey as easy as possible. Anytime I had a question or concern they took my call right away or called me right back. If it wasn’t for Dr Castelbaum I wouldn’t have the family I dreamed of, a daughter and another on the way! THANK YOU!

Dr Gutman is fantastic. She is smart, respectful and really committed to her patients. She always ran on time it very close to it ( I never had to wait for than 10-15 minutes to be seen and often it was less than that). She communicates really clearly and is always very to the point. I never felt pressured into any procedures or protocals, she would present her opinion and wait for me to come to my own decisions.I would not have a family without her and her very efficient and well run practice. I interacted with the office for over 8 years total - there was a while where I tried on my own after initial consultatation with Gutman, and a long hiatus between trying for miracle baby #1 and trying for miracle #2. During the 2-3 active years with RMA there were countless morning visits, after hours phone calls, email correspondence, etc. The fact that the visits were speedy and the staff were friendly and responsive kept me going when I wanted to quit.Finally, my two children are, without a doubt, here against extreme odds. Im continually in awe of the fact that they arrived at all, let alone (knock on wood) safe and sound. I will be forever grateful for Dr Gutman!

Im giving this ratings due to the awful billing system that this company has. I met with one of the doctor in December and january at the Langhorne location. The doctor was good and offered helpful information.... In April I received a bill for my 2 visits stating insurance was terminated. I tried contacting the billing department which was the most impossible task ever. I went into the location 2 times.. and could not get this resolved as the person that handles the billing was forever on lunch. I was told someone will call me and they they sent an email. The issue was that they were billing the wrong insurance company. There was no communication between RMA that they will take care of it or that they were working on it. Noone never called me. Instead I received a collections notice from a 3rd party! I paied the bill!!!!! And submitted a claim to the CORRECT! Insurance myself. And guess what Im still receiving Bills 7 months later. I called and managed to get someone who pulled up the account and said I had 2 accounts and that the payment went to the wrong one. How is that possible? Your billing system is horrible and I will never return to this practice or reccomend anyone there. All that needed to be done is someone talking the time to do their job....instead of treating the client as a number. You can do better!!!Update 7/22/2022... got yet another bill labeled final notice....bill has been paid months now. Time to call in legal help before these people damage my credit with their incompetence.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Castelbaum over the course of 3 years. We were diagnosed with female infertility and referred to his practice. Dr. Castelbaum was able to find the right medications that worked for me, and after trying on our own for almost 2 years, we were pregnant via IUI! We went back to him again when we were ready for another child, and this time we used the same medications and IUI and were pregnant again, just shy of a year of trying. Unfortunately this pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. Though this was tragic for us, he followed us through the miscarriage and was reassuring during this trying time. We ended up getting pregnant on our own shortly after, and he was more than willing (and excited!) to follow us through the beginning of that pregnancy! We have a 2.5 year boy and are currently 14 weeks pregnant! I loved his bedside manner and his office staff! The office staff was always very helpful and pleasant. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

The Doctors and Nurses at RMA of Philadelphia were excellent! Dr. Castelbaum is exceptional at what he does. He does everything he can to make you feel safe and comfortable through what can be a stressful process. I would highly recommend RMA of Philadelphia .

It is difficult to put into words just how influential Dr. Castlebaum is each and every day. He builds positive relationships based on patients collective goal/s. His approach is filled with compassion, shared knowledge, and comfort. Arts passion and expertise consistently amazed me and my husband, and we cant imagine having gone through the journey with anyone else by our side. AMAZING PLACE! I was lucky enough to not need medical intervention with the practice but the support, guidance, and love I felt was undeniable. I did not feel like a number, I felt like a human. I was needing to pay a bill and it turned into an extremely annoying situation. I had to call them and their HQ more than a half dozen times over a couple of months to get it resolved, for something that should be one-click in this day and age.

Patience & compassion throughout the entire experience. Couldnt imagine any other doctor being better than Dr. Castelbaum
